Every Athletic Quality Athletes & Parents Want To Improve Has A Modality Standing In Their Way That They Undervalue & Try To Avoid.

Strength Training isn't the be all end all, but it holds the keys to everything else. And it always will.

Strength Training isn’t the be all end all, but it holds the keys to everything else. And it always will.

“Everybody wants to get faster, gain more power, explosiveness, ‘first step quickness’, & agility, too.

Few are willing to put the time in to develop the strength required to enhance those qualities.

Buzzword Based Bro training doesn’t work.

You have to do the real stuff.”

If you were to ask me, “What would you rather see, a kid run a 4.5, 40 or squat 500 pounds?” Without question the answer would be the former.

If you were to ask me, “What would you rather a kid have, in game speed & agility, or a Trap Bar max of 600?” Again, without question, the former.

Just like everybody and their brother wants more “Speed! Power! Quickness! Footwork! Agility!” I can assure you that is exactly what I want for most all my athletes and really athletes in general.

I assure you I am no “Strength is the answer to everything” zealot.

But here is the difference between me and many of the average performance bros you’ll find on every street corner.

Instead of just making a sign or Instagram ad with all the flashy buzz words outlined above (speed, agility, first step quickness, footwork, etc.) littered all over it and then lying to your face about improving those qualities by hopping around cones and hurdles a couple hours a week…

I’m actually going to help you improve those qualities.

And no, I’m not going to use, “Coach Bro is the best, his training works!” with no real objective way to measure and track tangible improvement.

There are a lot of cool, nice people who aren’t worth their salt when it comes to results-based training.

I assure you I’m going to be nice, and I’ll try my best to be cool, but I’m hopeful I never attain or maintain a client off ME alone. I will forever be focused on ensuring any client receives a tangible return on their training investment, whilst also enjoying a high-quality experience overall.

If we could get around strength training, I promise I would do it.

I am so focused on getting our athletes results using the most effective, efficient means possible and if we could do it without getting stronger, I promise I would omit it.

We’d do all the same stuff everybody else does that doesn’t work.

But with as hard as I study and as much as I practice, I couldn’t in good faith omit the one quality that is responsible improving all others.

You have to strength train.
