Not only will they not work, they literally can’t work.
From a physiological perspective.
Kids don’t have the capacity to elicit favorable training responses from nuance because they don’t have the foundational patterning to support the advanced demands.
I just debunked your kid’s trainer in a single sentence.
It’d be like trying to build a house and starting with the custom kitchen countertops.
But what do the bros care about physiology?
It’s not about being scientifically sound, is it?
It’s about glorifying “the grind”, hype videos, and fire emoji comments from other amateurs who know nothing about real training.
Why learn when they can just pretend to look the part?
I like to tell perspective clients who come to me all the time from these places (and reach out from across the globe) that I am the guy you come to when you find out all that other stuff doesn’t work.
I wish they could learn before wasting time chasing perceptions and imagery, but like most things in life, you have to find out for yourself.
It just kills me to see the kids have significant amounts of their finite youth windows eaten up, performing “workouts” that are not only useless, but that are depleting them of resources.
And therefore, I fulfill my moral obligation of preaching the good message and up & out against the nonsense.
Can my efforts alone shift the tide? Probably not.
But if I can impact one, I know that my work is not in vain.
Selling simple is hard.
Some of the best coaches to ever walk on planet earth will say that, too.
It’s because simple lacks sex appeal.
And in 2024, people care less about what actually works and more about what looks cool.
(Is there any wonder why we’re in a societal decline? Lol.)
But the fact of the matter if you’re looking for a real coach for your child, find somebody with integrity. I mean the real stuff.
Somebody with a deep reservoir of not only knowledge, but efficacy.
Find somebody who has the complete confidence to look you in the eye and sell you on SIMPLE. Somebody, who with deep conviction could talk to you about why it’s best. For hours.
Your kids deserve it.
